What an exciting year for Brass Ring Ventures. We welcomed six new companies into our Growth Studio, joined Recast Capital’s selective Accelerate Cohort, became Forbes Contributors and 30 Under 30 Judges, and hosted critical conversations across the country.

My key takeaways from hundreds of conversations with founders, funders, and industry practitioners:

• The time to invest in the future of economic opportunity & prosperity tech is now. We are at a technological inflection point where new systems must rise to meet the massive, growing need for learning, skills development, upskilling, and reskilling across all socioeconomic levels.
• Founders and funders with insider, lived experience hold a distinct advantage. Their passion, credibility, and unique insights are vital for building high-growth businesses and solving problems others can't even see.
• While business fundamentals are teachable, a growth mindset is not. Self-awareness, coachability, and a relentless desire for continuous improvement are the core traits of founders who are wired to "reach for the brass ring" and are positioned for lasting success.

Looking ahead to 2026, I'm excited to deepen our support for the industry's most promising founders and collaborate across the ecosystem.
