Fall Intern — Brass Ring Ventures

Virtual · Part-time, 5–15 hrs/week

Brass Ring Ventures (BRV) is a seed-stage venture fund investing in AI-driven edtech, the future of work, and economic mobility. Beyond capital, BRV operates a Growth Studio model — working directly alongside portfolio companies on strategy, fundraising, financial operations, and go-to-market execution to help founders scale faster.

The Role

We're looking for a Fall Intern to support the BRV team across deal sourcing, portfolio support, and fund operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real exposure to how a venture fund operates day-to-day — from evaluating early-stage startups to helping portfolio companies solve real problems.

What You'll Do
  • Support deal sourcing and pipeline management, research emerging companies in edtech, future of work, and economic mobility
  • Assist with due diligence on prospective investments, including market research, competitive landscaping, and financial analysis
  • Help prepare investment memos and materials for partner and LP discussions
  • Support portfolio companies on discrete projects (financial modeling, fundraising materials, market research)
  • Assist with LP research, communications, and fund reporting materials
  • Contribute to internal research on trends across BRV's focus areas
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (business, entrepreneurship, finance, economics, or related field)
  • Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and technology
  • Sharp analytical skills and comfort working with financial models and data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • Prior experience in finance, consulting, or a startup is a plus but not required
